Do people need to futz with their post processor enough that something like a nominal monthly subscription to a web-based tool would make sense? Somebody might want to share their templates with me? Code wizard is a good compiler but the advanced code compiler is where you make the serious customization. But to do that we have to posf the code out to a temp file, grab the tool data from the end of the code, then post a second time referencing that info at the beginning and deleting the original file.
Sure, the first couple of years would be a pain in the ass as the company develops enough knowledge to know what the tool should do but after a while they would have the in-house expertise ganuc develop the tool and use it as a major marketing advantage.
Make a test-system that tests each of the fabuc correct functionality. It is a silly anachronism for every CAM to not have std posts for all the most common machines.

edbecam I would like to, very much, get a really good linux based cad and cam system. And no last-minute hand coded additions exist fanud the stock posts. This would not produce perfect optimal posts for everyone, no. Mining re - fracking, somewhat. If you doing a simple 3x or 4x Fanuc Mill it's fairly easy. The time now is Adaptive what's this meanor 5ax? Unfortunately, you don't get very good documentation with this software.
